• Your shears are disassembled so that the inside of each blade can be honed

• The shear is reassembled and the outside edges are honed

• To complete the sharpening process, a series of microfinishing steps are applied to create a polished, razor sharp edge

• The shears are then cleaned and lubricated

• Worn parts such as screws, washers, and bumpers are replaced as needed

• Finally, your shears are balanced and the tension adjusted

After a demonstration of their sharpness, your shears are presented to you for your approval.
